At the request of the SBA, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA will discontinue recognition as a minimum standard of the “Allocation Directives for the New Issues Market” self-regulation from 1 September 2023.
The Swiss Bankers Association (SBA) has applied to FINMA for the discontinuation of recognition as a minimum standard of its “Allocation Directives for the New Issues Market” self-regulation. The SBA intends to continue this self-regulation as voluntary self-regulation in the future. FINMA’s Board of Directors has approved the discontinuation. The discontinuation of recognition will take effect on 1 September 2023.
