Assessment of authorisation enquiries
FINMA assesses enquiries from individuals and legal entities with regard to whether the specific planned business activities require a licence as a bank or securities firm under financial market law and are therefore subject to supervision.
These assessments are subject to a fee. The fees are set out in the Fees and Levies Ordinance.
Requests to this effect should be addressed in an official language or in English to the Authorisation section of the Banks division.
