Controlling / Logistics (CL)
The Controlling / Logistics department (CL) is responsible for financial, HR and IT controlling and provides the following centralised services:
- It looks after the strategic orientation of HR management, planning staff requirements, recruitment, remuneration, staff development, management support, staff departures, HR administration, equal opportunities and equality in general as well as organisational development.
- It is also in charge of financial controlling, financial accounting, national accounts, accounts payable and receivable and expense funds for the organisation.
- In terms of IT for the organisation as a whole, it takes care of controlling, service provision in the SFBC computer centre (including all IT infrastructure such as systems, hardware, the network, applications, interfaces etc.), application development, the help desk for first-level support and IT security.
- Document management and storage – including scanning, registration, archiving, transfer of documents to the Federal Archive and the library – also fall under CL's responsibility.
- The department also manages general infrastructure, i.e. buildings, office furniture, office equipment and consumables.
- Last but not least, it is responsible for technical and organisational security as well as health and safety throughout the SFBC, which involve security checks, access control and first-aid services.
