FINMA publishes anonymised data about court rulings that concern its enforcement decisions in a database. It thereby increases the transparency of its activity in this area and shows the market what practices are unacceptable. The cases can be searched for and accessed in the database according to criteria. This publication form replaces the enforcement reports published for the years 2014 to 2018, with the statistical data disclosed in the statistics.
FINMA also published a selection of key rulings in bulletins until 2017 directed at a wide circle of specialists. They detail key, legally binding rulings issued by FINMA and decisions made by the Swiss Federal Court and the Swiss Federal Administrative Court that shape FINMA practice.
