These lists are updated regularly. Since entry into force may not yet have taken effect, institutions recently granted a licence to commence business may not yet have been entered in the list maintained by FINMA. Similarly, an institution whose licence has just been withdrawn may still be listed. Institutions that have ceased to perform activities requiring a licence, but which are still subject to FINMA supervision, do not appear on these lists. Depending on the level of protection required, authorised parties are supervised with a greater or lesser degree of intensity.
