Civil judgments relating to insurance law
Under Art. 49 of the Insurance Supervision Act (ISA; SR 961.01) the supervisory authority is required to publish decisions of Swiss courts relating to insurance law on a regular basis. These civil judgments concern not only disputes in which one of the parties is a private insurance company but also others that deal with questions of private insurance law. Conversely, there is no requirement to publish judgments that concern disputes with insurance companies but have no connection with insurance law.
These judgments can now be viewed in this database, which goes back to 1994 (the names of all interested parties have been removed).
